HRDC Statement on Non-Discrimination:
HRDC does not discriminate against any person including customers, employees, and applicants for employment on the basis of race, religion, national origin, sex, age, physical or mental disability, gender identity, reprisal, and where applicable, marital status, familial or parental status, sexual orientation, political ideas and beliefs, level of english skills, if all or part of an individual’s income is derived from any public assistance program, or protected genetic information in employment or in any program or activity conducted or funded by HRDC, in the performance of contracts and the delivery of services or funding. Not all prohibited bases will apply to all programs and/or employment activities.
USDA Statement on Non-Discrimination:
In accordance with Federal civil rights law and U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) civil rights regulations and policies, the USDA, its Agencies, offices, and employees, and institutions participating in or administering USDA programs are prohibited from discriminating based on race, color, national origin, sex, religious creed, disability, age, political beliefs, or reprisal or retaliation for prior civil rights activity in any program or activity conducted or funded by USDA. Persons with disabilities who require alternative means of communication for program information (e.g. Braille, large print, audiotape, American Sign Language, etc.), should contact the Agency (State or local) where they applied for benefits. Individuals who are deaf, hard of hearing or have speech disabilities may contact USDA through the Federal Relay Service at (800) 877-8339. Additionally, program information may be made available in languages other than English.
Nonperishable donations can be dropped off at most local grocery stores. Look for donation bins near the front of each store.
Donations during off-peak hours are encouraged (8 am- 12:00 pm or after 2:30 pm).
