I am the Coordinator of The Mighty Spork Food Truck and during the school year I also run the Healthy KidsPack Program. I also can be found helping out in the Gallatin Valley Food Bank warehouse and at the Fork & Spoon Restaurant, both in the kitchen and front of house. I love working for the Food & Nutrition Department with HRDC because it allows me to work with food, people, and to be a part of a really wonderful community.
Past Work: I’ve done trail work in Montana and Idaho. I have worked on multiple small scale organic farms and for a therapeutic farming and cooking program for teens. I have managed a mobile Baby & Tot thrift store. I have been a nutrition educator for children & adults in the Bitterroot Valley. I have also coached gymnastics off and on for 19 years.
Hobbies: My favorite hobby is mountain biking. I also love traveling, growing food, cooking food, eating food, crocheting, and up-cycling furniture that I find in the street!
Fun Fact: I have biked toured in 9 different countries and have traveled to 5 additional countries.
