Dara Fedrow

I am so excited to be taking over the position of Volunteer Coordinator. My job responsibilities include overseeing the 100+, incredible weekly volunteers in addition to group service scheduling. I also manage the day-to-day operations of the store.

Being a New York native, I moved to Missoula two years ago to study sustainable food and farming. I recently moved to Bozeman to start this position with the Food Bank. My previous jobs have included spearheading a community composting program in Brooklyn, NY,  working on organic farms, and being a teaching assistant for the Environmental Studies department at UM.

Preventing food waste, growing food, and empowering others are some things I am passionate about. I am also a total nerd about composting and building healthy soil. When I have free time, I love hiking, camping, cross country skiing, seeing live music, and reading (or napping) in hammocks.  I have loved meeting the amazing team of staff and volunteers that make this place possible!
