Adia Saurey

As a service navigator, I work with clients to ensure the best food bank experience possible, and help to connect them to other potentially helpful HRDC and community resources. I also help pack food boxes and plan deliveries. I love working with people, and really appreciate the chance to serve my community!
Hobbies: I love to ski, hike, climb, camp, and do all the outdoor things. I’m also a big time book lover and plant enthusiast.
Work experience: While in school, I volunteered and later worked with the VOICE Center at MSU, and also interned with Backcountry Squatters, an MSU club turned non-profit dedicated to promoting female empowerment in the outdoor community. Upon graduation, I spent a year working at a small food production company before joining the amazing food bank team.
Education: B.A. in Environmental Studies and minors in writing and sustainability from MSU.
