SUMMARY:Pack the Sack
DESCRIPTION:A fundraiser organized by the Bozeman Schools Foundation for our Healthy KidsPack program.  \n1 in 8 elementary students face hunger in the Gallatin Valley. The Bozeman Schools Foundation works with students\, families\, BSD7 schools\, and HRDC’s Gallatin Valley Food Bank to raise awareness of food insecurity and raise funds for KidsPacks to support students who may otherwise go hungry. \nA donation of $6.50 provides a local student with 5 healthy meals and snacks for the weekend in a KidsPack. HRDC’s Gallatin Valley Food Bank distributed over 6\,256 KidsPack last semester and helped stock food pantries in the middle and high schools for students needing food during the week.
